  • The combination of networking and inspiring keynotes offers IT decision-makers valuable insights for their future IT strategies.

Half-time for this year’s CANCOM LIVE 2024 series: After the event in Munich on October 17, 2024, an initial positive summary of the first half of the customer roadshow can be drawn. The exclusive series of events has already stopped at five locations and is aimed at IT professionals and decision-makers. It offers practical insights into current IT trends, real-world use cases, and innovative solutions. At a total of nine locations in Germany and Austria, the focus will be on key topics such as AI & IoT, cloud & datacenter, security & network, and modern workplace.

AI and cybersecurity as key topics

“The positive response from our visitors shows that with the program of CANCOM LIVE, we are addressing exactly the topics that our customers are currently dealing with. The combination of practical application examples, the exchange and networking with IT experts, and inspiring keynotes on current IT trends, such as AI and cybersecurity, are highly valued by our customers and partners,” reports Martin Mayr, Senior Vice President at CANCOM.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on operational processes are central topics in the program. “AI technologies have been around for a long time, and the test phase in companies is over. Now it’s about generating real added value for operational business. We show our customers how they can benefit from this,” reports Sinan Tankaz, Director Digital Solutions and AI at CANCOM. He will discuss this topic in detail in his presentation “From AI hype to operationalization: How to create real added value for your business with AI systems”.

Practical solutions and expert exchange

Industry-specific use cases are also considered at CANCOM LIVE. For example, the keynote “Automated & Paperless Production & Logistics Processes” focuses on practical solutions for digitization in logistics. Another key topic is cybersecurity in all its facets. In the keynote “CANCOM Rapid Response and Cyber Defense: Proactive Strategies for a Secure Future,” participants learn how to protect their IT infrastructure with holistic security approaches. One example is the CANCOM Defense Center, which helps companies arm themselves against increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks.

In addition to the informative presentations, the Expo Area at CANCOM LIVE offers the opportunity to talk directly to experts from CANCOM and leading technology partners. Visitors can expand their network and exchange ideas about their business challenges and possible solutions.

CANCOM LIVE will continue the journey with the next stops in Mainz, Salzburg, Graz and Bremen. IT decision-makers will continue to have the opportunity to find out about the latest developments and solutions in the IT world. “We look forward to having many exciting discussions again in the coming weeks and to providing our customers with valuable ideas for their IT strategies,” Mayr concludes.
